Top 3: What we learnt from this year’s ‘I’m a Celebrity’

This year’s ‘I’m a Celebrity..Get me out of here’ UK finally ended a few seconds ago. While we enjoyed Helen Flanagan’s screaming, Ashley Roberts’s dancing and Eric Bristow‘s no-nonsense attitude, have we learnt anything useful?

1. Even pretty girls feel insecure sometimes – It was hard to believe why Helen Flanagan felt so insecure about her looks. She really did not need the push-up bra, the self-tan or attitude. But when one looks at her behviour, you can understand why we have problems of anorexia, bulimia and self-harm in the UK. And yes, it was a little melodramatic that the Daily Star called her ‘The Most Hated Celebrity in the Jungle’. She is learning though… she didn’t ask her mum to put the lights out as she realised she could have done it herself. Strange…I thought most of us knew that?

2. Flashing your buttocks might not get you anywhere but ‘pulling a dirty’ might – Funny how David Haye had to strip down to nothing and still came third. All Ashley had to do was say that she wanted to ‘pull a dirty’. Although the fact that she was a Pussycat Doll might have also worked in her favour even if she is no Nicole Scherzinger….

3. Even posh totties get the same jungle treatment – Poor Hugo Taylor! Was I the only one who was shouting at the TV screen when people were making fun of him because he was rich? Weirdly enough, even with a supposed silver spoon up his y’know, he was the nicest one in there. He took all the stick and gracefully let it slide… except in the case of Rosemary. Although when anyone calls you a petulant little child, it is time to act don’t you think? The crying never helped though but everyone loves a Mr. Sensitive.. don’t they?
